Nuclear Holocaust

Ann lives in a world that has been devastated by a nuclear holocaust. For one week a year ago, war raged between the United States and an unknown country. This war ended when the other country bombed the United States with nuclear weapons, nerve gas, and other unknown biological and chemical weapons. The bombs wiped out entire towns and the radiation fallout killed people, animals, and plants all over the country.

Ann lives in a valley that was protected from the radiation for an unknown reason. However, Ann is alone because her family went in search of answers and never came back. Ann tends a garden and the few animals left from before the war while getting most of her food from the local store.
