Voyage Summary

Han tries to reason with Qing-jao about the nature of the godspoken. She continues to believe wholeheartedly in the gods and refuses the possibility that Congress may have committed such an outrage against the people of Path. He tells her of plans to introduce a virus that will cure the godspoken. She begs her father not to make the gods fall silent but she also tells him she does not fear the virus and Fei-tzu determines to release it.

The test run of Ender and Jane's ship is successful but produces a couple of unanticipated results. While the ship is "outside," a second, completely healthy Miro is created. The new Miro becomes the real Miro and the old Miro's body quickly disintegrates on the floor. Ender is also surprised to see he has inadvertently.....
