The Jade of Master Ho Summary

In her mistress's chambers, Wang-mu is awoken by a terrible cry, a man she thinks. She gets up to investigate and notices that Qing-jao's computer has generated a search result after so many failures. She awakens Gloriously Bright who discovers the computer has identified Demosthenes' real name: Valentine Wiggin. The search result also indicates her present location to be aboard a starship closing in on Lusitania. This immediately generates speculation about how Demosthenes could be distributing his writings. With a great deal of prompting by Wang-mu, who has already determined the answer, Qing-jao concludes there must be a secret program on the ansible computers. Both girls marvel at the power such a one controlling the secret program would have. They also begin to wonder at how that vast power.....
