Summary

In Chapter 7, Luke took Natalie’s phone from a sleeping Clayton. Natalie had video recorded herself reading stories for Clayton before she passed and Clayton would listen to them each night. Luke noticed that a Dr. Neal was on Natalie’s contact list. This name had also appeared on the envelope from the adoption agency Will had found. Dr. Neal had appeared again in the “Day 60” letter Natalie had written to him. In this letter, Natalie described the day she had been on campus and discovered three girls smoking marijuana in the stairwell. She confronted them and one of the girls, Tiff, yelled profanities at Natalie. Dr. Neal appeared and confronted the girls and Tiff said that it was Natalie who had been smoking because cancer patients got marijuana for free. Dr. Neal told Natalie to go to class and got the girls information...
