The Danvers High School Hockey Field

The high school hockey field is one of the few consistent settings throughout the novel, as much of the action is spread throughout various locations in the school as well as travel to different games that the team is playing. Aside from serving as a place for their practices, the hockey field is the site of the first of the team’s Gatherings, events where they dance and revel in what they perceive as a shared consciousness.
