Marc's House

None of the settings are fully described, but there are details as they apply to the action in the novel. Marc's house is apparently fairly small. Marc and Jake share a bedroom for the summer, which seems to indicate that the house has only two bedrooms. The house also has a garage because this is where Jake makes a pull-up bar for Marc's summer exercise routine. The house is in town, and Marc and Jake walk to a nearby park one day.

Victory MMA is where Marc takes jiu-jitsu lessons, beginning in the summer after Jake's arrival. Marc does offer some details about this facility, including that there are mats all over the floor where his class is held.
