Travis Cornell is a successful real estate agent who at one time owned his own business. However, after the death of his wife after less than a year of marriage, Travis sold his business and became a recluse. Travis's wife's death was the final string in a long line of tragedies that left Travis convinced he is cursed. Travis's brother died in a tragic accident when they were small children. A few years later, Travis's father died in a car accident. When Travis was in the Delta force, his entire regiment was killed, leaving him the only survivor.
