Connor Lassiter

Connor Lassiter is the main character in this futuristic story of a new way to live and a new way to die. As the story unfolds, Connor is frantic because he accidentally found orders signed by his parents for his unwinding. He has reached that rebellious time in life when he and his parents argue all the time. When he discovers that they have taken the easy way out and signed him over to the government for unwinding, he has but one option which is to run away. He knows the Juvey-cops will be after him because he now belongs to the government. But it’s better than facing the unwinding process when he will be surgically cut to pieces, his parts harvested and used by others in need of transplants and grafts.
