Part One, Triplicate, Chapters 1 - 4 Summary
Part 1: Triplicate, Chapter 1: Connor. Connor Lassiter is a sixteen-year-old boy who has learned that he has been scheduled by his parents to be "unwound". Lassiter had not always been the best of teens, sometimes getting into trouble and putting forth less than his best in school. As a result, Lassiter's parents signed a form in triplicate stating that Connor would be taken to a harvest camp where his vital organs and any other usable parts would be harvested and given to a person in need.
Connor is devastated when he first learns of his parents' betrayal. Connor knows that there is no such thing as a reversal even if his parents wished it.
