Summary

Chapter 23 - Gabriel and Dimitri manhandle Jared into chains. Kennedy rushes to stop them, only to be stopped by Jared. Gabriel tells Kennedy that the Jared she knew is gone, but Kennedy tells him that Jared is stronger than he knows. Gabriel tries to scare Kennedy by showing her a scar he has running across the front of his neck, but Kennedy isn’t fazed. Dimitri calls their small squabble to an end, and Dimitri lets it slip that he knows how Gabriel feels about Elizabeth, but he wasn’t helping things like this. The two unshackle Andras’ previous host who is already dead, Andras having drained him of life earlier.

Dimitri tells everyone that the longer someone is possessed by a demon the less likely they are to be alive once the demon leaves their body. Gabriel chains Jared to the wall...
