Chapter 4 Summary

After a rough night of sleep, Stephanie rises at 7 am. She looks over the information on the stolen caskets, but wonders why Spiro would buy such cheap models. Everyone in the neighborhood puts away thousands for a proper burial. Once she has fed Rex, she leaves for the storage locker.

Morelli follows Stephanie to the storage lockers, and Stephanie explains what she is looking for. Morelli suggests filing a police report and recognizes that the caskets are too cheap for any 'burg customers. The two investigators question Roberta, the co-owner and "R" in R & J Storage. Roberta leaves to check all the units.

Stephanie and Morelli leave, discussing the Sandman, who attended Moogey's viewing. Morelli suggests staying clear, but Stephanie decides to pay him a visit anyway.
