Chapters 5-9 Summary

Chapter 5:

Williams recalls the purpose of going to Chicago in the first place. Williams created bad blood with Global Weekly bureau chief, Lucinda Washington. From Chicago, Williams was scheduled to fly to London for a 10 day stay. All of sudden Williams is back in Chicago. Williams recounts the purpose of the trip to England. Williams was following a story regarding the financier Jonathan Stonagal, head of the London Stock exchange, Joshua Todd-Corthan, and a confab which was allegedly attempting to adopt a one world currency.

Steele hears from Hattie and relays the news about Irene and Raymie. Hattie says she still knows nothing about her family. The couple talks for a few minutes and Steele realizes the empty nature of his feelings toward the flight attendant.
