Summary

Roz watches the city change over an unknown amount of time. Roz is terrified of being caught, but makes it to the city center safely. There, she sees thousands of pigeons in a park who are surprised whens he talks to them. She asks if Graybeak, pictured on page 215, can help her find Brightbill, but the pigeons say that Graybeak has passed away. Instead, a pigeon named Strutter tells Roz to hide in the park while Strutter searches for Brightbill. Many hours go by before Roz sees Strutter and Brightbill again. However, an airship of RECO robots, pictured on page 221, arrive and Roz runs into the woods as the RECOs are unable to find her signal.
