Summary

In the late eighties, the Elmwood Springs High School realizes a dream. Their band is picked to go to New York City to play in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The town is very excited for them and they fundraise lots of money to get the band new uniforms and get them nice instruments. After all the hype, the band goes to New York City on a bus, and the bus, with their uniforms and instruments, is stolen. The people who stole it end up with bad karma, though. The thieves moved to San Francisco on the money that they stole, and they were on another stealing-spree when they got flattened on a bridge during the earthquake.

In the 1990s there are a lot more changes, Elmwood Springs gets a Walmart...
