Summary

Troy and his partner Higgins stand watch as a house and its garage go up in flames. The rest of the day is spent writing tickets and talking about Higgins’ children. Troy wants to tell him about his mother’s house and the plans he has to buy it, but Higgins likes to gossip, so he kept it to himself.
