Flavian Sabina de Luce

Flavia is the narrative's eleven-year old protagonist. Her father is Colonel de Luce. Ophelia and Daphne are her sisters.

Flavia is an intelligent girl with a logical mind. She loves chemistry and books. She solves the murder case using clues that are different from those of the police. For example, she concludes that the victim came from Norway because of the bird that he left at their door; whereas, the police come to the same conclusion based on the shoes he was wearing. She tries to determine how the police knew that the victim came from Norway and works to solve the case. She is determined to find the truth. She is also resourceful. She uses this skill to uncover the clues that help her solve to case.
