The Fight Summary

Trudy and Edgar go see Doctor Frost. Trudy has developed pneumonia. Trudy will have to stay away from Edgar until she is better. The full weight of running the farm now falls on Edgar, who does everything from chores and cooking to caring for and training the dogs. Trudy is frustrated that she cannot help her son, and that she is bedridden.

When a dog fight breaks out, Edgar intervenes to break it up. One dog, Epi, acting on instinct, turns on Edgar and bites him twice, putting a gash in his forearm. Finch is also injured. Almondine intervenes on Edgar's behalf, chasing Epi away. Out of desperation, Edgar tells Trudy to call Claude.

The Fight Analysis

Between an injury to Edgar's hand and Trudy's pneumonia, Trudy realizes that she must call Claude to come in to help on the farm...
