Summary

In Chapter 36, as Harry climbed the stairs to the observation deck at the ski jump, he wondered if he had no adrenaline because he knew his life would be over shortly. He reached the top to find Mathias was sitting in an open window. He tried to get Harry to shoot him but Harry would not allow himself to be tricked. He knew Mathias wanted to avoid the pain of his sickness and planned to keep him alive.
