Summary

In Chapter 34, Day 21, Harry arranged to meet Mathias at Mathias’ home. He could hear background music that sounded like Japanese glockenspiel. Mathias told Harry the door would be unlocked and that he was to come in. After talking to Mathias, Harry called Hagen to tell him that Mathias was the Snowman and that he had found Sylvia’s body in a tank at the Anatomy Department where Mathias worked.

At Mathias’ apartment, Harry positioned a man across the street watching what they thought was Mathias sitting in a chair. The other officers entered the apartment and discovered it was abandoned. Inside the living room, the other officers gasped when they saw a woman sitting in the chair. She was wearing a blue dress with white flowers.
