Magic Vs. Reality

Asteri, called simply the City by those who lived in it or the Shining City by those who lived around it, is surrounded by large stone walls that are alive with enchantments. The residents are protected by magic, and watched over by one hundred wizard trees that have stood in a circle around the City since the days of the plague.
