Oscar

Oscar is an 11-year-old orphan with thick black hair and little experience dealing with people. Master Caleb removes him from the Children’s Home so that he can look after those tasks that are too menial for him or his apprentice to have to do. It is Oscar’s job to extract plant oils, grind leaves into powders, fill small vials with tinctures, and collect any herbs or plants required by Master Caleb.
