Part II—Pages 104-111 Summary

In Part II, pages 104-111, when Trent and Jason return to the interrogation room, Trent tells Jason to forget that he tried to escape to get the word on the tape of the interrogation. Trent's new line of questioning convinces Jason that it is odd that he had a friendship with Alicia and even though Jason thought of Alicia as a friend, that she made fun of him just like the people that are not his friends. Jason asks for a drink and Trent breaks his own protocol to get Jason a drink. Trent's focus is on ending the interrogation with Jason's confession, collecting his fee, and getting his favor from the senator and what Trent believes is the truth.
