Summary

In “DIY,” Laura and Tim have been dating for six years now. They are not married but are very much in love. Tim has an office job, which is why he loves getting involved in do-it-yourself projects in the form of home remodels. Laura dislikes living in all of the chaos of remodels, but she puts up with it because she loves Tim and his passion for the work. Tim finds an old home on the outskirts of London. They move in with the intention that they will fix up the house and remain there for a while. Tim begins work on the house like normal, but he quickly becomes obsessed with the remodel. He pours every free minute he has into the tasks and ignores Laura. She begins to feel left out, and their relationship fades into mere coexistence under the same roof...
