Chapters 65-99 Summary

Chapter 65. Ivan remembers coming to the circus with Mack. He even remembers holding a human baby once.

Chapter 66. Ivan remembers Helen moving out on Mack.

Chapter 67. Ivan remembers when Mack gave him his domain at the circus and how happy he was to have his own space. However, he is confused over whether he is human or gorilla.

Chapter 68. Ivan takes some magic markers Julia gave him and marks an x on the wall for each day he has lived in America.

Chapter 69. Mack comes and speaks briefly to Ivan.

Chapter 70. Mack begins working with Ruby. When Ruby grows tired and stops responding to his commands, Mack gets the claw-stick and hits Ruby with it. Ruby hits Mack in the groin with her trunk. Mack leaves.

Chapter 71. Julia worries about Mack hurting Ruby and asks her dad what to do, but...
