Kevin's School Files

Addison steals the file in the hope that he will learn more about Kevin, but the file becomes a symbol for how ordinary Kevin really was. The first time Digger reads the file, she is amazed that anyone believes Kevin was involved in drugs or gangs because of how ordinary the file makes him seem.

The Flyers

The flyers are symbolic of Addison's belief that he can figure out what happened to Kevin even though the police have not been able to find any serious leads. Addison puts up flyers all over the city, which is how he comes into contact with Kevin's father.

The 12 Shots

To Addison, the fact that Kevin was show 12 times, while the other two murdered employees were only shot once, symbolizes that the shooter had some reason to focus on Kevin and that Kevin was the intended target while...
