Summary

That night, the family has a Fleeting -- family meeting -- on the trampoline, after Oak has gone to bed. The parents tell the children that they have decided to send Grumps to Sunset Vista residence, the assisted livign facility Sumac talked about in her presentation. Sumac, feeling guilty and horrified, tells them that Grumps had been blindfolded and playing a game when he accidentally stepped on Oak: this does not change the parents' minds. She tells them that Oak is challenged, but they would never send him away, that Grumps has only lived with them for a weeks and will take getting used to, quotes an Indian proverb to PapaDum, and that Grumps is the family's plus one.
