Summary

Sumac encounters MaxiMum mediating in the backyard, and asks her if she voted yes when PopCorn suggested that Grumps live with them. MaxiMum responds that she did not, but that she cannot always expect to get her way with three other coparents: she adds that the parents do not officially vote, but discuss and decide on the best course of action. MaxiMum accuses Sumac of disliking change, but Sumac responds that it was her decision to adopt Brian and Oak.

The family goes to a nearby farm and art market, which Grumps dislikes. The next day, they went to a Presbyterian church because Grumps normally attended one, but he said that he did not know any of the hymns. CardaMom was invited to a Gala Gathering of Indigenous Women Leading Change, because she had donated much of her lottery winnings to an indigenous organization...
