Mrs Sims works at the grocery store and tells Georgie to take a lottery ticket when he visits her there.

Georgie memorizes all the numbers on this ticket because he is sure he will win something.

The rosebush

Georgie is given a rosebush when he wins the lottery at the grocery store. He becomes very excited about the rosebush and treats it as his best friend.

Mrs Harper's garden

This is where Georgie thinks he should be able to plant his rosebush. At first, everyone resists, but then when they see it will help Georgie heal, the rosebush is put in the garden.
