The chapter begins with Sister checking on Georgie. She offers to place the rosebush in a special place at the front of the school or have Timothy and Georgie work on creating a garden. Georgie says okay, but has no intention of putting his rosebush in either of those places. Georgie develops a plan to go over to the Harper's house when Mrs. Harper is not there.
