Mal’akh aka Zachary Solomon

Since Mal’akh is a man obsessed with transformations. As such, it is no wonder that he has so many identities through the course of this novel. He began his life as Zachary Solomon but changed his name after he heard a conversation between his father and the administration of the foreign prison in which he was being held. Because Zachary’s father, Peter, would not buy Zachary’s freedom, Zachary used his money to do so. He made it appear that Zachary had been killed.
