Summary

In Chapter 77, Mal’akh remembered his fall into the frozen river the day Peter shot him. He had escaped death only because he managed to break a hole in the ice. He ran until he reached the highway. A man stopped for him and Mal’akh told him he was shot by a hunter and needed to go to the hospital.
