Summary

Chapter 3 opens in the Murder squad room at Dublin Castle. O’Kelly, Cassie’s former boss, asked how her old partner, Rob Ryan, was doing. Cassie had not seen Rob since she had transferred so she gave a flippant answer. The office brought back memories of the time she had spent working with Rob and clowning around with him. At one point in the meeting, Cassie wished Rob was there to distract her from O’Kelly’s snide comments.

Once the meeting got started, Cassie and the others learned there were not yet any suspects or leads in the case they were calling Operation Mirror.
