Chapters 18-24 Summary

In Chapter 18, Scott complains to Will that he is damaging Scott's chances of getting a volleyball scholarship by spending more time with Ronnie than practicing volleyball. A few minutes later Ronnie comes and invites Will to dinner at her house. Will insists on going to his house to change his clothes. Ronnie is shocked when she sees Will's house.

In Chapter 19, Ronnie is shocked when she learns that Will is the son of Tom Blakelee, owner of Blakelee Brakes. On top of this, when Ronnie meets Will's mother, it is clear that she does not approve of Ronnie. Tom, on the other hand, is very kind and shows Ronnie is remote control airplane. Will, on the other hand, fits in well with Ronnie's family and enjoys playing liar's poker with them.
