Chapters 21, 22, and 23 Summary

Percy finds Hermes waiting watching an Iris Message of newscasts. They talk about how the mortals didn't even realize that the world almost ended. They talk about Luke, and Percy assures him that in the end, Luke knew his destiny and died a hero. Hermes thanks Percy and comments that the god might even learn a thing or two from Percy.

Percy then runs into Athena, who is also waiting to talk to him. She asks him why he remained mortal. Percy admits that he could not leave Annabeth, and Athena warns him not to mess up.

Percy then finds Annabeth, and they head down to see Percy's parents. His parents are worried, but relieved to see him. Percy assures them that everything is going to be alright, but then Nico runs in and tells Percy that Rachel has stolen Blackjack...
