Chapters 6, 7, and 8 Summary

In chapter six, Percy gets to experience his first shadow travel. He loves it. Nico meets Percy at May Castellan's house, and they go to see Luke's mom. May Castellan appears in the doorway and immediately hugs Nico and calls him Luke. Percy is wondering at this, as Nico looks nothing like Luke, but then she apparently forgets all about Nico and hugs Percy, also calling him Luke. May's house is a disarray of Tupperware containers full of old moldy peanut butter sandwiches, mounds of burned cookies, and a sink full of old Kool-Aid containers. Her walls are covered in pictures and cutouts of Hermes. She is clearly insane, and believes that each of the boys in her living room is her son Luke returned to her. They manage to get the story of the last time she saw her son...
