Chapters 1 and 2 Summary

This book begins at the end of a year long war. The Titans have returned from their prison in Tartarus and are waging war on the Olympian gods in Modern day New York City. The magical world is hidden from most mortals by the Mist, but some mortals are able to see through it. Percy and his allies must stop the Titans from destroying Olympus, which is now located at the magical six hundredth floor of the Empire State Building, all the while keeping the battle a secret from the mortal world. The Last Olympian begins in the days before the final battle.
