Part 3, Chapter 44 Summary

Willie arrived at the hospital to find that Miss Callie had a stroke and mild heart attack. After a long night at the hospital, Willie and much of the family returned to his home. He was glad to have others in the house with him. The next day, as Willie packed up his office, he got a call to come back to the hospital. Callie was awake and accepting visitors.
