Summary

In Chapter 5, Avery goes to the Point Bed-and-Breakfast, which is run by the Sylva family. Avery's former best friend, Faith, is the daughter of the owners. She is bringing a package there for Kevin Donaldson, who has decided to remove his family from Blue Robin and stay at the Bed-and-Breakfast. Avery and the Sylvas exchange pleasantries, even though Avery knows that this is all a facade.

After dropping off the envelope, Avery goes to Blue Robin and sees that someone had clearly been in there looking for something. She notes a window that had been broken the night of the Plus-One and had to be replaced. Avery goes to the master bedroom and finds Sadie's cell phone buried in the chest at the foot of the bed, identifying it by a nail polish stain that came from Sadie.
