Chapter Fifteen Summary

Chapter Fifteen has Eve, Joe, Jane, and Spiro flying into Dillard. Dillard has snow and is a much colder climate. The taxi driver tells them about a bed and breakfast and the bar where regulars congregate. Eve and Jane are lead to their bedroom and Eve gets a chance to ask Mrs. Tolvey about Dom's family. Mrs. Tolvey has been in Dillard for twenty years. Mrs. Tolvey doesn't remember the name.

Joe saw the look on Mrs. Tolvey's face as she came downstairs. When he asked she said that nothing was wrong. After he signed in, she told him about the tent with red/pink and white candles. The tent was on a plateau on the mountain side and her father had drug her up there for this old evangelist, Baldridge, to call her up front and try to make her...
