Chapter Five Summary

In Chapter Five, Eve finished the head and it was John Devon. Eve was so tired that she almost fell apart but Joe was there. He insisted she sleep and answered all her objections. He put her in the bed and brought a washcloth to clean the clay from her hands. As they talked about John Devon being the proof that Frazer hadn't done all the killing he had confessed to, Eve was agitated that Dom had the girl's body. Eve was sure that he had Bonnie. He had taken the skeleton to hurt Eve. As Joe and Eve talk about Dom's plans, Eve thinks of her mother. Joe assures her that they have Sandra under guard. Joe talks Eve into going to sleep.
