Part Three - Chapter Twenty-Three: Reaping Fields, Epilogue: Second Homecoming Summary

Chapter Twenty-Three: Meghan, Ash, and Puck endure wind, hail, and green lightning in the wyldwood. Eventually the three come to an area overlooking a valley. They can see the battle between Winter and Summer below. Ash says they should stay out of the fight and just look for Oberon or Mab. Puck responds that no one is likely to ignore the three of them, given their reputations. Ash shoves Meghan aside just before a huge winged wyvern lands where she had been standing. Rowan is riding on the wyvern's back. Rowan warns Ash that if he makes any moves, Thraxa the wyvern will take Meghan. Thornguards appear from behind, to further trap Meghan, Ash, and Puck.
