Stan

Stan is the husband of Charmaine and brother of Conor. He seems to be in his late twenties or early thirties, and is described as focused, driven, and decisive. Having worked successfully in robotics prior to the economic crash, Stan feels like a failure because he loses his job and must live in a car with Charmaine. As a result, he is desperate to make things good for her, so agrees to participate in the Positon Project.

Stan comes to be envious of the alternate couple who share his house, and in his desire to meet the woman, discovers that Charmaine is having an affair. He then encounters his alternate, Jocelyn, who secures his support in her plans to break apart Positron.
