Summary

Chapters 34, 35, and 36 continue in Ragnvald's first-person narration. as he and Oddi meet Heming on the small stretch of islands named Alesund. Heming is excited to see Ragnvald and he thanks him for trying to help him and Hakon at Vestfold. Ragnvald is surprised at this but he just tells Heming that he was attempting to be fair. Heming turns the conversation to attacking Solvi which prompts Ragnvald to ask him if he is sure that Solvi is at Tafjord. Heming is not sure but he is confident that they can take the hall anyway and then wait for Solvi's return. The ships have to wait for the tides to flow just right before going on their journey and during this wait they spy a fisherman in a small boat on the water. They hail the fisherman and he turns out to be Agi...
