Summary

In Chapter 7, Sarah swims every morning. Mali does not appear until a few days later. Sarah tells her she was worried about her, Mali says she needed a time to brood over her relationship problems, and is okay.

Mali says she laundered money in the past and guesses that Sarah needs to launder any money and that she has people coming after her. Mali offers to help her, saying she does not care how she got it. Sarah agrees, trusting Mali.

Mali says there is a parade for the monarchy, and asks Sarah if she wants to go.

They go near the Grand Palace, visiting temples nearby first. Sarah becomes emotional, feeling her life until now has been meaningless. At the Grand Palace, they walk through the massive crowd. They go clubbing that night. Sarah feels it is the best day of her life...
