Summary

Out of habit, Jane cleans her and Reagan's room, even though the latter is responsible for the clutter of clothes. Jane is excited because Mae has informed her that the Client will allow her to see Amalia, with Ate bringing her. Mae is sure to remind Jane that a special exception is being made for her. Jane's friendship with Reagan has developed as well, as she trusts Reagan with the secret of Amalia's visit. Though Reagan initially made her wary with all her questions, including talking about the week she spent in the Phillipines as a teenager, she eventually bonded with Jane. One day, while Jane was on a video call with Ate, she found that Amalia had a black eye and an ear infection. She shouted at Ate and became overwhelmed with emotion, and Reagan quietly comforted her.
