Valerian

Valerian is a space traveler who works for the Spatio-Temporal Agency as a peacekeeper across the galaxy. He is a strong character who is able to handle any situation, though he is not invincible.

He believes in right and wrong, and he always works on the side of good. He is intelligent and is able to figure things out when faced with new situations. For example, he discovers that the guards are mute when he and Laureline are first captured after their arrival on Syrte.

The relationship between Valerian and Laureline is never fully defined. However, there seems to be something more than a working relationship between them. Valerian is the stereotypical strong, handsome hero, while Laureline is the capable sidekick. Typically, Valerian sometimes makes glib or humorous comments, and he dismisses dangerous situations. As a hero, he is always willing to do whatever is necessary.
