Book 2, Pages 74-89 Summary
The Mutants congregate in the dump for a big meeting. Their leader rallies them to commit more crime. Batman is indeed present and lets them know it. He bulldozes through the crowd in his tank and demands their surrender. After taking most of the gang down, he eventually comes face to face with the leader. Even though he has a great shot at him, he sticks to his self-imposed policy of not killing. He steps out of the tank and fights hand-to-hand with the Mutant. Batman truly feels his age as he fights this young criminal. Luckily, Robin comes out of hiding just in the nick of time to help Batman.
Later on, Robin reveals herself as Carrie Kelley, a thirteen year-old girl. She helps take care of Batman while he lays injured back at the bat cave. Meanwhile, at the White House, the president is meeting with Superman and...
