Book 1, Pages 31-45 Summary

The weather appears to be breaking with the storm that is moving in fast over Gotham. At the same time, violence is also reaching a new high. Since the storm is about to take hold of the city, two teenage girls risk walking through the unsafe arcade in order to get home more quickly. The arcade is unsafe because it is well known that the Mutants use it as their hang out. The storm takes the power out and they walk through the dark. To the girls' surprise, the Mutants come out and begin attacking them.
