Beauty dozes as she waits, chained to a wall, for the Queen to arrive in her chamber. As Beauty closes her eyes again, the Queen enters, dismissing her Ladies in waiting. Ignoring Beauty, the Queen sits at her dressing table and summons Prince Alexi. Prince Alexi fetches the Queen's wine. As the Queen drinks, Alexi blows Beauty a kiss. Beauty begins to crave the touch of his body as Alexi undresses the Queen expertly. Beauty watches, jealous at her own clumsy performance with the Prince. Alexi puts away the Queen's garments and returns with a voluminous pleated, sheer robe he slips on her alabaster body.
