Chapter 7 Summary

Dr. Moore is furious that a seventeen-year-old kid is in his autopsy suite, and when Patrick returns, he threatens to remove Moore from the case if he tries to kick Cameryn out. Ben helps the situation by reminding Dr. Moore of the media frenzy concerning this case, so Dr. Moore relents but still insists that he will kick Cameryn out if she messes anything up since the body belongs to him after the autopsy begins. Cameryn tries to control her emotions as she becomes distraught at the pain her friend must have undergone. After Cameryn takes pictures, Dr. Moore begins collecting trace evidence, moving slowly from head to foot as Patrick signs and dates the envelopes with the evidence.
